Google Research Vs Biodiversity Crisis
The Ask

The breadth and depth of Google’s scientific research efforts are vast. Its commitment to social impact and responsible development is just as impressive. 

However, now that every new AI company claims to have ‘changed the world’, it needed to re-establish its cutting-edge credentials. 

We needed to tell the Google Research story afresh, with a content overhaul that made its work feel relevant, meaningful and outright awe-inspiring.

The Work

We found our audiences and pinpointed the conversations that would engage them. 

We articulated the brand mission. 

And then we put them both together, devising a content calendar packed with stories that showcased a dazzling array of scientific breakthroughs and created context and meaning for audiences. 

Series like ‘Google Research Vs.’ shows how Google is tackling pervasive social issues like the biodiversity crisis, while ‘Field Notes’ contextualises scientific hot topics, and ‘Research Bytes’ gives teams a fast vehicle for announcements. 

On average, newly created Across the Pond content was watched 10x longer, and shared thousands more times.
