Packed Lunch: Brown Girl Like Me

Jaspreet Kaur (Hothi), poet, teacher and author of “Brown Girl Like Me - The Essential Guidebook and Manifesto for South Asian Girls and Women” joined us for one of our Packed Lunch sessions.

Amongst many subjects, Jaspreet spoke about the need for more cultural sensitivities in health services, how to be more aware of micro aggressions in the workplace and perhaps most poignantly the concept of intergenerational trauma.
