We have been accredited as a London Living Wage Employer.

We have been accredited as a London Living Wage Employer. This means that our commitment will see everyone working at Across the Pond will receive a minimum hourly wage, which is significantly higher than the government minimum for over 23s.

The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers that wish to ensure their staff earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum.

Accreditation is a public commitment from employers to ensure that all employees who work for them, directly and indirectly, can earn a wage that is enough to live on. There are over 6,000 accredited Living Wage employers across the country ranging from FTSE 100 companies to small coffee shops. The accreditation badge is an ethical benchmark for responsible pay and gives staff and consumers the confidence that Living Wage employers have committed to increase employees’ wages every year in line with the cost of living. We’re very proud to be in the company of other businesses who have committed to the living wage.
