Key Skills and Responsibilities:
These will include:
Project Management
Working closely with our Producers, Post Production department and Head of Production to maintain a high level of quality and precision on your projects.
Taking ownership of call sheets and risk assessments.
Managing all production & travel logistics for your projects.
Create & manage production schedules for both live-action and post-production projects.
Keep the Head of Production up to speed on your projects’ status and any significant changes.
Meticulously maintain and log third-party licenses e.g. release forms, music and stock licenses, supplier agreements etc.
Ensuring the highest levels of COVID safety are put in place & met on your projects.
Ensuring your projects are run as sustainably as possible.
Liaise with (and negotiate with!) third party agents, as necessary.
Client and Supplier Relationships
You should be comfortable being client-facing as needed - whether this is across emails, in-person and video meetings.
Maintaining and developing fantastic relationships with our valued clients & suppliers.
Being proactive in finding new talent & crew - with a particular focus on finding talent from diverse backgrounds
Financial
Closely tracking your projects’ profit margins to ensure they hit our profitability targets (without ever compromising on quality).
Scoping projects, creating budgets and contributing to our pricing proposals.
Processing supplier invoices & POs for your projects.
Post-Production & Delivery
Help to oversee projects from kick-off through to final delivery.
Help to quality control final deliverables as required.
Liaise with and book external post-facilities e.g. for colour grades, VO sessions and sound design.
Work with our in-house post-production team to facilitate the smooth delivery of all your projects.
Essential Experience
Must be experienced in juggling a high-volume of projects and budgets at the same time.
Experience building & managing budgets up to or over £150k.
Extensive knowledge of APA crew rates and guidelines.
Experience in managing workflows for non-English language projects.
Detailed understanding of APA COVID production guidelines.
Capable of writing thorough and accurate risk assessments.
Strong background in multi camera shoots.
You will have a strong UK network of trusted crew and suppliers. A broader network globally is also desirable.
Knowledge of camera equipment and the technical side of production.
Experience in setting up remote interview filming is beneficial.
Experience in organising visas, carnets & work permits for overseas shoots and bringing talent into the UK.
