This is us…
Across the Pond is an independent creative agency with offices in London, San Francisco, Singapore and Shanghai. With a heritage in film production we are on a journey to become the most sought after creative agency for tech brands. We are a small but growing agency, passionate about helping clients solve their communication challenges. We work at the intersection of technology and culture, helping to create social and cultural meaning for Tech brands. We do this through a distinctive approach that is rooted in culture.
We work with big tech: Think Google, Meta and YouTube. We also work with innovators and disruptors: Think DeepMind, Intrinsic and Ecovacs as well as tech startups. We are a sociable and inclusive team that take pride in delivering excellence for our clients. This is a chance to join our San Francisco team as we build out the creative department to fit our unique needs.
This is you...
We are looking for a conceptual mid weight creative, from a copywriting background.
It’s essential you have a keen interest and passion for scientific innovation and technology; our subject matter is AI and Quantum Computing, not shampoo and snack brands. You’ll relish leading research calls and interviews with some of the world’s smartest thinkers, and flushing out stories for niche audiences.
You’ll also have a background in crafting film and video content specifically. Both live action and animation. You’re able to concept and plot engaging narratives and come up with ideas for unexpected visual approaches. Experience creating best in class social content is an advantage.
Alongside this, you’re able to think strategically and conceptually, with an ad-agency approach to big, campaign-worthy ideas; while we specialize in film, we have a growing workstream of integrated campaigns that require strategic concepting and traditional copywriting skills.
