World Autism Awareness Day

World Autism Awareness Day is internationally celebrated on 2nd April to encourage UN member states to raise awareness about neurodivergence.

As a part of our Foot in the Door programme, we have collaborated with a student from The BRIT School to showcase an artistic representation of how it feels to be on the autism spectrum by creating this beautiful mini webcomic. Thank you Al Bennett for sharing your talent with us.

Our Creative Director Rohit Iyer shared:

"I found working with Al really enriching and insightful. I admire them for sharing their personal experience through their art and for being open to representing incidents that must've been quite distressing and challenging. It's really opened my eyes to how poor our awareness is when it comes to autism and indeed my own. We need to work harder as a society on this front and I think education channeled through creativity in this form is a great way to help us understand each other better."
